Borgia - Blush

A stunning and complex abstract design, it was hand drawn in 1929 and is a fine example of the fusion between art, craft and textile design. The design is block printed using eighteen original wooden blocks and nine colours. It's namesake is the House of Borgia, a Italo-Spanish noble family with a passion for the arts, and who rose to prominence during the Italian Renaissance.
